11th Annual Pat Magovern Shillelagh 5K Run/Mile Walk

The Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh of the Jersey Shore are requesting sponsors for our 11^th Annual Pat Magovern Shillelagh 5K and mile walk.  This event will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Bar Anticipation. 

Each year our net proceeds are donated to various causes. This year a large portion of the funds raised will be donated to Circle of Friends, which is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization based in Belmar/Lake Como, NJ. Their mission is to foster a more inclusive and compassionate society by providing unwavering support, education, and opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities in New Jersey.

The remaining funds will be donated to the FSOS Charitable Foundation, which provides scholarships, delivers food baskets at Thanksgiving and helps individual people in need.

We look forward to working with our sponsors on this event that has continued to grow each year.  We welcome your suggestions in helping us make this a fun, successful and safe family event for all parties involved.
